Pete Waterfield visits Sevenoaks Primary

On Monday the 4th of March Olympic Silver Medallist, Pete Waterfield came to Sevenoaks Primary School, as part of the Sport’s for Schools Programme: to encourage children to take part in new sports.

Pete is a four time Olympic Diver who won a Silver Medal at the Athens Olympics in 2004. Pete dives with Tom Daley. He told us all about his journey to becoming such an amazing athlete. Each class took part in a series of fitness challenges, including: Spotty Dogs; Press Ups; Leg Drives and Star Jumps. We were sponsored by our friends and families to raise money for new sports equipment for our school.

The whole day was a once in a lifetime experience and we will treasure the memory forever.
