Sevenoaks Rugby tournament

Rugby Success

On the 22nd May, Mr Froome’s tag rugby club took part in the Sevenoaks Rugby tournament. Many schools took part and we entered three teams: an A, B team and C team. Everyone enjoyed taking part. In the group stage, each team had to play 3 matches. The winner and runner up of each group qualified for the next stage.

All teams played exceptionally well. The A team, captained by Charlie  5A, won their group and made it through to the semi-finals but narrowly missed out on a win, losing 5-4. The B team, captained by Ruari, came second in their group and made it through to the quarter-finals. In the quarter final match, they played against Leigh Primary School but unfortunately they lost 4-8.
