Every Friday afternoon Phase One holds a very special Gold Book Assembly.
This is a time for us to come together to celebrate the successes from the week gone by and share some of the learning we have been doing in our classes.
As part of this assembly, we share the names of the children that have been chosen to be in the Gold Book. Each Class Teacher chooses two children from their class who have had a particularly good week. For example, a child could be chosen because they have been very polite or helpful. They may also be chosen for a specific piece of work or because they have been a really good friend.
The children who were in the Gold Book this week were:
Oscar - for being so dedicated when making his own Three Little Pigs story
Annabel - for her super reading & trying so hard with writing her name
Sophia - for lovely work & being so kind
Zara - for lovely drawings & writing
Leo - for some really great sentence writing this week
Rayan - for trying really hard with her number work this week
Lily - for persevering & writing lots of Antarctica words for our igloo
David - for thinking of lots of interesting adjectives to describe ice
Callum - for always being such a kind & caring member of the class! Callum is also a super listener - well done!
Azra - for always setting such an excellent example to her friends by listening carefully & always trying her best
