Dear Parents/Carers
Welcome back!
It has been joyful catching up with everyone and hearing about their half term adventures. We launch Term 6 with our value of ‘courage’. The children have reflected upon what courage means to them and how they can support each other, and our school, in order to demonstrate this. One of my favourite quotes was, ‘When I am not sure, I just become a little bit braver and use my mindfulness to support me.’ This came from one of our youngest children and gives us all something to reflect upon when things feel a little bit hard.
Wishing you all a wonderful and courageous week ahead.
Best wishes,
Mrs Malone

Working Party: Saturday, 15th June - 12.00pm to 5.00pm
Thank you to the staff and parents/carers who have kindly already offered their help. Many hands make light work and, if you are able to offer any time to help with some of the jobs planned for the day, we would be grateful if you could let us know via manager@sevenoaks.kent.sch.uk. Here is a reminder of the areas we would like to focus on:
- Painting KS1 playground
- Completing the KS1 allotment area
- Installing matting on the slope up to the middle field
- Building benches to install around the playgrounds
- Completing matting and beds around the new Gazebo
Thank you in advance for your help – we look forward to a productive (and, hopefully, sunny) day!
SPS Sports Kit
If you have any SPS sports kit at home, we would be very grateful if this could be returned via the School Office.
In particular, there is a tennis event on Wednesday, 12th June and we have approximately 12 tops missing. The children love to ‘show off’ their school and it would be a shame if some of the team were unable to wear their SPS kit on such occasions.
Thank you in advance for your help!
