Gymnastic Festival Success

Success for four teams of our gymnasts in the Key Steps Gymnastic Festival which took place on 11/02/2015

Congratulations to four teams of gymnasts from Sevenoaks Primary School who recently competed in a Key Steps Gymnastic Festival at Aylesford School Sports College.  Three of the four teams came first in their group and the remaining team came third.  The gymnasts were all aged from 5 years to 11 years. Mrs Potter, Sevenoaks Primary Gymnastic Coach said “We are delighted and very proud of all the gymnasts, especially because for many of them, this was their first gymnastic competition”.

The first placed ‘Year 1 and 2’ Step 1 Team and the ‘Year 5 and 6’ Step 3 Team have now qualified to take part in the Kent School Games Finals at Pegasus Gymnastic Club in Maidstone this June.  “We will be practicing hard for the Finals and hope all the gymnasts enjoy the experience of taking part in a county final” said Mrs Potter.
