SPS Sporting Success!

Congratulations to our pupils who have had some fantastic sporting success this week!

SPS Basketball Team missed out on title by 1 point!
The SPS Basketball team played in a schools tournament on Friday 16th of May. The boys played brilliantly – beating, amongst others, 2 Solefields teams in the group matches and semi-final.
They made it to the final where they lost in the last minute by 3-4 to St Thomas.  Well done to all the boys.

Kent school games mini red festival took place at Holybush on Wednesday 7th May at which 84 children from the Tonbridge and Malling district took part.

12 SPS children attended this event, 4 from year 2 took part in the skills tournament which they won by 100 points. 8 children from years 3 and 4 took part in the main tournament. Our A team finished 1st and the B team came second. This means that the A team will now represent the Tonbridge and Malling District at the Kent Schools Games final on June 11th.

Well Done!
