Year 5&6 Kwik Cricket at the Vine

Year 5 and 6 Cricket Tournament.

On Wednesday 3rd July, selected Y5 & Y6 children walked up to the vine with Mrs Shea and Mrs Williams to play cricket to represent the school. We got split into two separate SPS teams. We started practising when we got there and soon after we were playing a proper match against another of the eight school teams who were also there.

One of the teams played a tough game to begin with, but one hard game didn’t change our positive attitudes.

The tournament lasted from 1:30pm until 5:00pm. At the end, the two SPS teams played each other.Everybody agreed that it was the best game of the day and said it was great!
