Photoshop Club

Photoshop Club

Photoshop Club is currently run on a Friday lunchtime from 12.40 to 1.20pm in our new ICT Suite 2 for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.  The pupils learn to use the software, Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, and then apply it to selected projects.  We have made 'vignettes', learned to 'cut-out' text to reveal a photo underneath and practised layering techniques to insert a photo inside another.

In these examples below, the children have used 'adjustment layers' to enhance their photos, giving some very creative results.

The children then chose an image and created 'vignettes'

In the next set of photos, the children learned how to use layers in Photoshop and created their own 'Hamburger layer' images.

Cut-out text revealing the image underneath was another project the children enjoyed.
