Gold Book - We All Shine!

Every Friday morning Phase One holds a very special Gold Book Assembly.

This is a time for us to come together to celebrate the successes from the week gone by and share some of the learning we have been doing in our classes.

As part of this assembly, we share the names of the children that have been chosen to be in the Gold Book. Each Class Teacher chooses two children from their class who have had a particularly good week. For example, a child could be chosen because they have been very polite or helpful. They may also be chosen for a specific piece of work or because they have been a really good friend.

The children who were in the Gold Book this week were:

Leopards:
Azra - for beautiful joined-up handwriting
Callum - for fantastic ideas about dinosaur describing words

Lions:
Dorothy & Jacob - for their fantastic writing when drawing & labelling their pictures

Tigers:
Maisy - for some amazing phonics & reading this week
Sheri - for doing some excellent subtraction work all by herself

1A:
George - for some amazing work in phonics this week
Nibras - for hard work on his Henry VIII picture

1B
Oliver - for good problem solving in maths
Thomas - for working so hard & writing a super riddle this week

1C:
Ralph & Lucas - for super sounds & phonics

WELL DONE!
