Gold Book - We All Shine!

Every Friday morning Phase One holds a very special Gold Book Assembly.

This is a time for us to come together to celebrate the successes from the week gone by and share some of the learning we have been doing in our classes.

As part of this assembly, we share the names of the children that have been chosen to be in the Gold Book. Each Class Teacher chooses two children from their class who have had a particularly good week. For example, a child could be chosen because they have been very polite or helpful. They may also be chosen for a specific piece of work or because they have been a really good friend.

The children who were in the Gold Book this week were:

Lions:
Orson - for noticing that his friend was upset & choosing to draw him a picture to cheer him up
Lucas - for being a 'good sport' at Sports Day by cheering everyone on & hugging a friend who was upset

Leopards:
Harry - for making fantastic & imaginative potato people
Nazifa - for always being so well behaved & kind

Tigers:
Owen - for amazing, independent sentence writing about being a good sport
Aidan - for showing such care about minibeasts in our garden. Aidan was chosen to make homes for injured minibeasts this week

1A:
Nicholas - for making good behaviour choices this week
Joshua - for excellent cursive writing in all of his work

1B
Ethan - for super teamwork at Sports Day
Charlie - for always asking if he is ever unsure about something & always doing his best

1C:
Isaac & Florine - for fantastic graph work. Really well set out & neatly labelled - brilliant work both of you!

WELL DONE!
