Gold Book - We All Shine!

Every Friday morning Phase One holds a very special Gold Book Assembly.

This is a time for us to come together to celebrate the successes from the week gone by and share some of the learning we have been doing in our classes.

As part of this assembly, we share the names of the children that have been chosen to be in the Gold Book. Each Class Teacher chooses two children from their class who have had a particularly good week. For example, a child could be chosen because they have been very polite or helpful. They may also be chosen for a specific piece of work or because they have been a really good friend.

The children who were in the Gold Book this week were:

Meer & Daniel - for confidently telling the class their holiday news
Erik - for super listening & excellent behaviour
Rene - for working so hard all week
Lily & Jake - for being so keen to write about their half term holiday all by themselves. They were the first to complete this tricky challenge & did not give up!
Ariq - for a wonderful DRAGON acrostic poem & for keeping going ...
Harry - for an amazing acrostic poem about Dragons & finishing his work
Dylan - for always bringing in great topic books & sharing his knowledge
Martha - for writing a super poem with a partner & sharing - great teamwork!
Harry - for a much improved effort lining up at lunchtime - well done!
Arlo - for good thinking in maths when sorting lengths (he placed something exactly a metre on the line between longer than/ shorter than a metre when sorting)
