Anti Bullying Ambassadors (The A Team)

The A-Team, also known as the ABA’s, which is short for Anti Bullying Ambassadors, help children around the school understand what bullying is and how it can affect people. They tell us their situations and we give them advice to stop the arguments.
Us Anti-Bullying Ambassadors take great care in organising assemblies and events to encourage children to stand up to tricky situations. We make the events fun and exciting while still teaching children.
Every class from years 2 to 6 have at least one Anti Bullying Ambassador to monitor the behaviour in the classroom, hand out the Kindness Bands to children who have been kind and write their names on the School Kindness Wall. The Kindness Wall is where all the children who have been kind throughout the classes get noticed for being great friends. The Kindness Bands are a reward for being kind.
Every Term, we have two meetings to get organised for events and our Special Assemblies for Years 2-4 and years 5-6. We tell them what we will be doing for the Term and report what happened the Term before.
We learn how to be good mediators and work as a team- the A team. We make friends and help other children make more friends. We enjoy seeing the benefits of our assemblies taking place around the school. We also enjoy seeing another smiley face each day.
We think the A in the A-team stands for Awesome Anti Bullying Ambassadors.
