SPS Tennis Success

The annual Kent Primary Schools Team Event was held at Bromley Tennis Centre and Bromley High School during May. This event looks to find the best school team (of 4 children) in the Mini Red, Orange and Green ball categories.

We entered 6 teams including 2 Girls Teams.

Highlights were that the

  • Red Boys Team came second after being narrowly beaten by New Beacon in the final.
  • Green Boys Team lost in the semis after beating teams from St Michaels, Russell House and Deal.

Two of our players were both praised by adults from other schools for their great attitude and manners.

We also sent 12 children to a local Primary Schools Tennis Event at Hollybush.

All children played and behaved well and our Team A came 2nd overall.

Well done to all that took part.
